Meet Judy and Tom

To a very special person,

Hello, we are Judy and Tom and we would like you to know that we are so grateful that you have decided to choose life for your unborn child. We pray that all birthmothers find peace from the Lord about this difficult decision. We have always believed that God has a plan for all of us greater than we could ever imagine. Children are gifts from God and we pray that our life will be blessed with children.

Tom and I met in the winter of 1998 at a Catholic mass and social event. It was a very special day, and we knew that God had brought us together for a reason. We both love children and we are very faith filled people. Our relationship and love continues to grow. We found that we both enjoy traveling, outdoor sports, church activities, reading, and spending time with family and friends. On July 3, 1999 we were married in the Church Judy grew up in as a child. Since that unforgettable day, our prayer life together has helped us through the good and difficult times. We started trying to have children soon after we were married, but due to infertility we have not been able to conceive. Due to our prayer life, we feel very hopeful and excited about adoption. We know relatives and have met many wonderful people who have had their hearts touched and lives changed forever. We believe that the Lord is leading us to grow our family through adoption.

We are blessed and honored to be godparents of a boy and girl named Luke and Alison. We love watching them grow up and spending as much time as possible with them. They have enjoyed trips to the zoo, walks to the playground, and reading stories with us. As a Christian couple, we strive to be good role models for them.

Now, a little about us. We are blessed to live in a small town in eastern North Carolina not far from the ocean. We have one-half acre of land and we live on a cul-de-sac street. Our child will have plenty of room to play safely, learn to ride a bike, and spend time in the backyard with family and friends. The Lord has also blessed us with two good jobs. Tom works at the local hospital as an emergency room physician, and Judy is currently an Occupational Therapist who works with special needs children in a school setting.

We both love helping children in any way that we can. We have enjoyed volunteering with our church, tutoring children and at-risk teenagers, and providing the less fortunate with resources that we have been given. We look forward to teaching our child the values and many simple pleasures of a Christian life.
